Get to Know Our Pastor
Pastor Sheila Baker has happily served Gobles United Methodist Church since July 2024.
She lives in the Gobles/Kendall area, and has two daughters and five grandchildren and 2 great grand sons.
She worked in pharmaceutical research and development before studying to become a pastor and serving her first appointment in 2004. She is passionate about her ministry and serving the community.
Pastor Sheila currently serves as President of the Gobles-Kendall Area Ministerial Association and Director of the Food Pantry. She also serves in the following capacities in Van Buren County: Chairman of the Emergency Food & Shelter Program and on the Advisory Council for Senior Services Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
She enjoys singing and was a member of the “Country Spice” quartet.
